The Wanko Informationslogistik GmbH company offers an integrated solution for warehouse and transport. It covers the complete flow of goods, beginning with reception, going on to picking, disposition, tour planning and delivery to the customer. Wireless forklift and handheld terminals facilitate operational procedures; outstanding optimizations in tour planning reduce driven distances. Warehouse efficiency is increased greatly.
The Wanko Informationslogistik GmbH company is both old and young:
Directed by Heinrich Wanko†, the Wanko Unternehmenslogistik GmbH company in Ainring augmented its core business — logistics consulting and tour planning software — by a stock management software.
The new management sought a merger with the Würzburg Salt AG. Ruled by the more significant Salt AG the merger ended in insolvency.
In September 2003, the holders of the Wanko Unternehmenslogistik GmbH founded the Wanko Informationslogistik GmbH in Ainring in order to restart in the existing premises.
Up to merging with the Salt AG, Artur Södler was employed at Wanko Unternehmenslogistik GmbH. When the abandoning of the warehouse management software by the Salt AG became apparent, Artur Södler employed himself, still working for the company. The Salt AG transferred to him the support of the existing warehouse clients, and he worked on an agreeable expansion of his engineering office.
Today we take an essential role in the services once again offered by Wanko Informationslogistik GmbH. Then as now, we stand up for a high quality development of the warehouse management system PRAMAG® on behalf of the customers.
